Employee of the Month for September 2001

Donna Basteyns, Secretary Senior

Donna is not just professionally cordial but friendly and helpful to students and staff alike. She has worked for CWU for the past 29+ years. During that time she worked in the Registrar's Office; she was the department secretary in Music for 18 years; and most recently, she has worked in the Campus Life Department for six years. The work she does for Campus Life is exemplary. She manages to keep up with all of the various paperwork needed by many programs coordinated by student government leaders and administrators. She is especially helpful in assisting students to navigate the institutional paper stream to accomplish their objectives. Her sense of humor is terrific. She is very easy to be around. She gets along well with a great variety of people. She contributes a very strong work ethic. I believe CWU is fortunate to employ her.
