Employee PaidOverviewLong-term care refers to a broad range of medical, personal, and social services provided to people who are unable to care for them selves over a relatively long period of time. Although most people think long-term care refers to care in a nursing home, care can also be provided at home by home health care workers, nurses, or therapists, or in a community-based adult day care center. EligibilityYou are eligible to apply for LTC insurance if you are:
PremiumsPremiums are specific to the individual and are determined by age, plan and options chosen. Contact John Hancock. (User ID: pebbltc and the Password is: jhancock), or call 1-800-399-7271 to obtain premium information. Premiums are payable monthly by check to John Hancock or by monthly automatic bank withdrawal. Payroll deduction is not a payment option at this time. |
