Wildcat Day Agenda
Check back
often for updates to the agenda as events are being added
Wildcat Day is Phase I of Central Washington University's four-tiered fall new student orientation program. This program is designed to
introduce accepted students and their parents/guests to Central pride, provide you with information about academic departments and majors and
provide an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about Central.
Please join faculty and staff from across campus as
we celebrate the first step on your road toward graduation from Central.
Although Wildcat Day is a one-day event, we recognize that some of our guests may choose to spend one or more nights in Ellensburg and may
require a hotel. All hotels are conveniently located within two miles of campus. The Ellensburg Chamber of Commerce Web site lists the hotels
at:
www.ellensburg-chamber.com. Use the “Business” link.
CWU is unable to recommend or endorse any of the hotels. Reservations are the sole responsibility of the student and/or the
parent/guest. We encourage you to make your reservations with the hotel as soon as possible as rooms may be limited.
Ellensburg is centrally located in Washington State with the Cascade Mountain Range to the west and the Columbia River to the east. We invite
you to the scenic Kittitas Valley where you can enjoy an abundance of outdoor activities for any season. Come and explore our historic
downtown, museums, galleries, shopping, experience our fine dining, or join us for one of our many festivals and events.
For more information about what to do in Ellensburg and the surrounding area please visit the Ellensburg Chamber of Commerce website at
www.ellensburg-chamber.com.
The four tiers of orientation are:
- Phase I: Wildcat Day
- Phase II: Discover! Summer Orientation and Enrollment Program
- Phase III: Wildcat Welcome Weekend
- Phase IV: First Six Weeks Programming
More information about Wildcat Day will be sent to accepted students via your CWU e-mail address and your home mailing address. For
