This website is an amazing teacher resource.  It has tons of ideas for lesson plans and themed units, which can be used in the clssroom.  It can help teachers come up with new ideas for creative and fun ways to learn as well as to get students interested in the topics of the lessons.

Learning Page has ideas for lessons to be used in the classroom.  It is a good teacher website for books, ideas for the classroom, worksheets, and a lot more.


OSPI http://www.k12.wa.us/
This is the OSPI website with the Washington State standards for teachers.  It has teaching tips, the required EALrs and GLEs that need to be covered by each grade level, and a lot of other useful information.  The links to all the different school districts in Washington has information on each school in the state.

This is a site for teachers with many different poems and songs with a specific concept being taught that can be incorporated into lessons.  A lot of the songs are to commonly known tunes and are easy to learn at different grade levels.  They are put into categories, which makes it easy to find a poem or song to go along with a specific topic.

PE Central can be used by teachers or parents.  This site has ideas for fun activities that not only the kids get to enjoy but it gets the games and activities get the students active and keeps them moving.

Discovery Kids is a website that is all about science and has games that look at different concepts in science.  It is simple for children to navigate the website.

Students have questions all the time and this is a great site with many facts in different subject areas that students can go to find the answers to their questions.  It also has games and other fun activities for students on this educational website.

Scholastic Kids is a site for students that has books and information about authors.  There are also games they can play.  This can be helpful when a child is interested in a specific topic and wants some ideas for books to read that are age appropriate and safe to read.
