Using CWU Library Resources from Off-Campus

Most of the resources that the CWU Library offers electronically may be accessed from outside of the main campus in Ellensburg. For example, if you are a member of the CWU community, you may use any of our web-based databases, search our online catalog (CATTRAX), or renew materials. This remote access requires that you have an Internet connection, and to use our databases other than CATTRAX, you must have a web browser. In addition, due to contractual limitations, access to some of the databases requires some configuring of your browser.

If you are a student or faculty at one of the University Centers, we have some additional information that will assist you in using library services from off-campus.

  • Library Information for University Center Students and Faculty

  • What resources can be accessed from off-campus?

  • Database Access from Offcampus

  • Remote access through CWU's main campus dialin network

  • How do I connect to these online resources from home?
