Information Literacy:
UNIV 101 - Library Skills
The Information Literacy Program at CWU begins in UNIV 101 (General Education Colloquium) with an orientation session conducted in the Library for each class section.
- Library Tutorial
- Following the visit to the Library, hands-on instruction in finding materials and using the Library's web site is provided through this interactive online tutorial.
- Library Skills Quiz
- As a part of UNIV 101, each student is assessed to determine his/her ability to locate and select appropriate information resources using this online quiz on Blackboard. (Login with username and password. Allow 45 minutes to complete).
- UNIV 101 Students, before you can take the quiz you will need to do the following:

Create an Account on Blackboard (You can skip this step if you already have an account on Blackboard for another class at CWU).
- Enroll in the Course on Blackboard Listed under "courses", "Library". Course name is "UNIV 101, Library Skills". Click on the "enroll" button next to the course name.
