The first annual STEP Summer Science Institute for high school juniors took place at CWU from June 23 to July 3, 2003.
As part of the Summer Institute, the LEGO Mindstorm Robotics Invention Kit and the NQC programming language were used to introduce fundamental programming concepts in a hands-on style.
Week 2 participants included Alan Gilbert, Jensie Hernandez, Meghan Waddle.
