Several Central Washington University students have spent time exploring ways the LEGO Mindstorm Robotic Invention Kit can be used to teach fundamental programming concepts to non-programmers.
Winter quarter, 2003, Kelly Carmichael, Tammie Springs, Jason Brown, Casey Smith, and Robert Heard played with the LEGO Robots. Kelly designed and implemented the LEGO Web site to support the STEP LEGO module. Tammie designed and wrote a LEGO Lab Manual to accompany the STEP LEGO module.
Spring Quarter, 2003, Roy Avery, Aaron Jarboe, Blair Sherman, and Melissa Zangrillo played with the LEGO Robots.
