Installing the CS 110 Project Template

JCreator LE comes with four standard templates for creating projects.

To simplify creating projects for CS 110 and 111, an additional CS 110 Project template should be installed on your home computer.

1. Right-click 110Template.zip and select Save Target As ... to download and save 110Template.zip to your desktop.
2. Right-click the downloaded 110Template.zip folder on your desktop and select Extract All ... to use the Windows XP extraction wizard to extract the folder and its contents to your desktop.
3. When the extraction wizard ends, click Show extracted files to open the 110Template folder
4. Copy the extracted 110Template folder with its contents to C:\Program Files\Xinox Software\JCreatorV3 LE\Templates
   • Caution: do not copy the 110Template folder directly on the desktop. Click to open this folder and you should see another 110Template folder nested inside it. This inner 110Template folder is the one you want to copy.
   • The 110Template folder contains two folders (classes, src) and setup.tst
5. You may now safely delete the 110Template folders on your desktop (both the zipped folder and the extracted folder)
