The motto of Central Washington University is "Docendo Discimus". Translated this means "by teaching we learn". This assignment is based on the notion that the best way to learn a subject is to teach it to others.
Working individually or in groups of two, research and learn an advanced web technology and prepare a presentation to teach the technology to our CS 352 class.
The bulk of your wiki page should be composed of original material. Any other material should be carefully referenced.
Do not copy and paste material from other Web sites without clearly indicating the source and the fact that it is a direct quotation. A better approach is to summarize the information in your own words and provide a hyperlink to the source of the information.
A holistic evaluation (A, A-, B+, etc.) will be done on your special topics project, based on both the oral presentation and your wiki page. Team members in groups of two will receive the same grade for the assignment. Expectations are that teams of two will produce a higher quality project compared with an individual.
