Program 3 Assignment
Design a prototype interface to serve as an email client for senior citizens
- Use Ajax Extensions and Toolkit controls to make the interface customizable by the user
- Use Ajax Extensions and Toolkit controls to make the interface easy to use
Optional: you may consider starting with the video and C# code from ASP.NET AJAX: A demonstration of ASP.NET AJAX: "To Do List" management application
To Receive Credit
- This program is due at the start of the class on Monday, May 12 (1 week)
- Print out a screen capture of your E-mail client prototype Web page as displayed in a browser
- Annotate your printout to note
- Any problems that remain in your solution (to assist with grading).
- Items that are faked and do not work
- Your total completion time (rounded to the nearest half-hour)
- Save you work in your
U:\Programs\nnProgram3 folder. I will check your program online
Grading Criteria
- Labs will be graded on a scale of 0 to 20:

20, 19: Excellent,
- Interface is well-designed and appropriate for elderly users
- CSS and images used to add style to the application
- Database with frequent contacts, etc. is working
- Ajax Extensions and Toolkit controls used intelligently
- 18, 17: Very well done: Minor problems remain
- 16, 15: Well done: Some functionality problems remain
- 14, 13: Acceptable: major functionality problems remain
- 12, 11: Marginal: Some parts working
- 10: Incomplete: the lab was attempted but over one-third of the requirements still undone
- 0: Program not submitted, no work done. You are allowed one late program this quarter - due in one week.
