Add Preview in Firefox
Check for Preview in Firefox by opening HTML-Kit's View Menu and selecting Preview in Browser. Look for Firefox in the list of available browsers displayed in the cascading menu.
If Firefox is not in the list of browsers, add Firefox to this list.
- Pull open the Edit Menu and select Preferences ...
- Click on Programs Tab in the Preferences dialog box
- Click on Edit Browser List ... Button
- Click Add Button
- Enter the Firefox information
- Click OK once to add Firefox to the browser list
Make Firefox the top browser on the browser list
- Highlight Firefox in the Browser List
- To view the Browser List, select Edit Menu | Preferences ...
- Click on Programs Tab
- Click on Edit Browser List ... Button
- Use the Up arrow to move Firefox to the top of the list of browsers
- Click OK and OK again to close the Preferences dialog box
To test Preview with Firefox
- Open a HTML document in HTML-Kit
- Open the View Menu in HTML-Kit and select Preview in Browser » Firefox
- A new Firefox window should open displaying the content of your Web page
- Alternatively, Use Alt+1 as the shortcut key to preview a HTML page with Firefox
