Allies:
What is an Ally?
An ally is someone who is associated with others to support their cause and purpose.
Who can be an ally?
Anyone who supports the cause and the lives of the people associated in the GLBT community.
Where can I find other allies?
There are active allies and allies who are very supportive of the GLBT community. If you wish to get involved, PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) is an excelent organization to be a part of. They can be found all across the nation.
What can I do on campus to help those in the GLBT community?
GALA-GLBTSA puts on programs throughout the year and we are always looking for participants and people to help out. You can also participate in the Safe Space program that the Diversity Education Center puts on to learn more about being an ally on campus.
