Homers For The 12th and 13th Time In Losing Effort
Wildcat First baseman Brian Viafore (Fircrest/Bellarmine Prep) hit his league-leading twelfth home run of the season in game one as the Wildcats divided a Great Northwest Athletic Conference baseball doubleheader with Saint Martin’s on Saturday, losing 4-3 in the opener before taking a 6-3 win in game two. On Sunday, Viafore added to his season homerun total when he blasted his 13th over the right field wall. However, this all came in a losing effort as St. Martins swept the double-dip on Sunday.
