BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN FASHION MERCHANDISING

Central Washington University's Fashion Merchandising Program is designed to help you gain the knowledge you need to recognize industry trends, analyze market and consumer behavior, and evaluate retail needs. Guest speakers, industry field trips and attending trade shows allow students to have contact with fashion industry professionals. Students also gain additional hands-on professional experience during summer internships.

Students receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising administered by the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences. Quarterly meetings with the faculty advisor assures the student is on track academically to achieve their professional goals.

ADMISSION POLICY
  • The major application form must be completed, and then signed by the department advisor and Chair.
  • Students must have a university-level cumulative GPA of at least 2.3 for full admission to the departmental major.
