We are excited to announce that on July 21, 2008, the Higher Education Coordinating Board of Washington approved the new Bachelors of Science (B.S.) degree in Environmental Studies at CWU (view the HEC Board resolution here). The new B.S. degree will offer students a number of specialization options in environmental biology, environmental chemistry, environmental geology, physical geology, and water and air quality. A specialization in the social sciences is likely to be added in the near future. The B.S. degree requirements at CWU can be viewed here.
