It's Hard to Find a Friend Who Likes Bread and Spiders

When the fog clears up and the frost melts
I'll go out looking for bread and insects.
Breakfast at sunrise used to be a ritual, but
the sun hasn't actually peaked out of the
clouds yet. If the lake froze I think I would
move down to Palm Springs for the winter.
Palm trees and pink sunsets offer lots of bugs
buzzing around, waiting to be consumed by me.
I bet I could find some beautiful gulls bathing
in the sun. This post gets so lonely sometimes.
I wonder if the lake is going to freeze this winter?
