A Path Cut in Rock

I see an ominous opening in the icy hillside, a beam of dust-danced radiance
cutting across the darkness.

He sees a three-dimensional object of indeterminate depth, permeated by a
polygonal light source.

I see the dripping icicles as we enter, hanging wine-bottles with an
occasional drop of clear nectar dropping from the cork, it's fall cut short by slick rock.

He sees inverted parabola high on the y axis, .6 fluid ounces approaching
terminal velocity at a rate of 32 feet.per second per second before disbursing on the dense, dark, plane.

I look at a hill, little crow's feet, green-lenses, gel-packed cameras,
swiveling in their sockets.

He looks at the collection of geometric shapes, chemical compounds, and
distances that compose my face.

We go deeper into the cave.
