Membership

All exempt employees are members of the EEA (i.e., all individuals who are appointed by the university to positions which are civil service exempt and who are engaged in administration, professional services or a combination of administrative and instruction requiring professional training and experience, except academic department chairs.)

Meetings

Regular meetings will be scheduled once a quarter; however, additional meetings can be scheduled as necessary if there are issues that require feedback from exempt employees. Meeting announcements will be sent to all exempt employees via email.

Mission

To provide administrators and professional staff a vehicle through which to:

• Speak in a united voice;
• Maintain an educational environment that is conducive to the university's mission of teaching, learning, research, and service; and
• Recommend to the president on matters relating to administrative and professional staff welfare or morale, personnel policy and procedures.
