Educational Service District

Educational Services Districts (or ESDs) exist to promote partnerships among individual school districts in any given geographic area. ESDs offer a variety of services to school district personnel to ensure compliance with state legislative mandates; to promote learning for all students; to provide support to school administrators and faculty in the form of in-service workshops and on-going professional development opportunities; and to provide links to individual school districts.

In addition, ESDs serve as a great place to learn about the scope and variety of school districts in a given area. This link will take you to any of the ESDs in the State of Washington where you will find a wealth of information about the schools within those ESDs.
