P-12 School Resources

This page is designed to assist P-12 school personnel in learning more about Central Washington University and to provide links to documents which will also be provided in hard copy.

The A-19 form is the state form used to pay Cooperating (Host/Mentor) Teachers. A hard copy will be provided by the University Field Supervisor.

The Pedagogy Assessment information link is included so that you have access to this state-mandated document that is administered twice during the course of the student teaching experience to indicate your student teacher’s performance.

The Pre-Autumn Handbook will assist you in understanding the scope of experiences expected of students who will work with you at the beginning of an academic year.

The Student Teaching Handbook offers a variety of programmatic and course-specific information that will be helpful as you mentor a student teacher through the experience.

The Request a Student Teacher document is new and in a trial period. There are several restrictions on placing students for both Pre-Autumn and Student Teaching, but this document will assist us in helping place students with mentors who are excited and energized to both host a student and to mentor them as they work toward becoming a certificated teacher.
