As long as you have Internet access and a recommended web browser, you can log in to your account directly from the LiveText edu solutions home page. This guide will lead you through the log in process and help you to solve any log in problems you might encounter.
1. Enter http://college.livetext.com in your Web browser's address bar.
2. Enter your username and password.

3. Click the Login button.
If you log in successfully, your MyDesk workspace page will appear.
Troubleshooting Login Errors
If you encounter an error during the login process, you will either be presented with an Access Denied page, or you will be redirected to a login page and receive an Invalid Login error. We will examine the reasons and offer solutions for either of these two login error scenarios.
Access Denied Error
The main reason why you would receive an Access Denied error is because your web browser is not set up to accept cookies—a requirement of LiveText edu solutions. If you encounter an access denied page, adjust your browser privacy settings to accept cookies.

Invalid Login Error
An invalid login error occurs when an invalid username and/or password is entered.

To correct this problem, attempt to log in again. Make sure that you enter your username and password correctly. Verify the spelling of your username and password. Remember that the password is case sensitive. If the Caps Lock key is engaged on your keyboard, you might not realize that you are entering the incorrect password.
If you are still having trouble logging in, you might find it necessary to retrieve your username and/or password.
Retrieving your Login Information
If you have forgotten your username and/or password, click either the Forgot your username/password? link on the home page or the Having login problems? link from the login page.
Retrieving your Username
Enter the email address you used to register with LiveText edu solutions in the Enter your email address textbox and click the Continue button. Your username will be sent to your email (provided that it is the same email address that is associated with your account).

Resetting your Password
If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it. LiveText edu solutions offers you two options for resetting your password. Use Option 1 if you set up a security question with your LiveText account. Use Option 2 to reset your password using your email address.
- If you use Option 1, enter your username and email address and click the Continue button.
- Enter Your answer to the security question and click the Continue button.

3. Choose a New Password, Confirm New Password, and click the Reset password button.

With your password reset, you will be able to log in to LiveText edu solutions.
As mentioned, if you do not have a security question, you can still reset your password. Choose Option 2, Enter your email address and click the Continue button. A link will be sent to your email address (provided that it is the same email address that is associated with your account) that will allow you to reset your password.
Contact LiveText Support
If you still cannot log in to your LiveText edu solution account and you have exhausted all of your options for retrieving your login information, you should contact LiveText support via email (LiveText@cwu.edu) to remedy the situation.
