The FDCSC is charged by the Executive Board to perform three primary functions:
- To provide, by request only, any CTL faculty with a peer review for the purpose of recommending merit, promotion, tenure, or reappointment
- To review aggregate data relative to faculty teaching, scholarship, and service for the purpose of recommending new professional development activities
- With respect to candidate scholarships, the committee is charged with the responsibilities of: Reviewing candidate application materials and selecting candidate awardees.
