Connie Lambert reviewed the handouts distributed.

  • Washington State Site Visit (lavender)
    • Possible questions were discussed. Faculty in some of the programs have met and reviewed these for potential responses.
  • Constructivism summary (white)
    • This information is to be distributed to students.
  • Candidate Assessment System (blue)
    • Joyce Garrett demonstrated the Assessment System Graphic on the website.
    • Transition Points are also referred to as Gates in other schools.
  • Schedule for NCATE Accreditation/State Site Visit (buff)
    • The schedule for the NCATE and State Teams for May 4 through May 9, 2007 was distributed and discussed.
  • There was a general discussion of potential responses to the possible questions distributed.
    • There were varying answers from across the departments based on their own programs and experiences.
    • What type of data and what kind of decisions made based on that data will be very important.
    • The number of candidates Increased from 580 to 830 last year.
