The minutes for the meeting February 5, 2007 were approved as written.

• NCATE/OSPI Schedules: (Connie Lambert and Joyce Garrett)
1. Due to a conflict of interest, Kermit Buckner will not be on the NCATE Team. Tess Mehring of Emporia State University has been appointed Team Leader.
2. All but one vita has been submitted. The current count of vita submitted is 157.
3. Various appointments that include the Executive Board members are:
1. Dinner; 5:00 PM, Sunday May 6 at Sue Lombard
2. Executive Board interview; 9:00 AM, Monday, May 7
3. Debriefing; 8:00 AM, Wednesday, May 9


4. Meetings are usually with groups. Possible individual meetings would be with the President and the Provost.
5. Interviews with the four PEABs are scheduled for 4:00 - 6:00 PM on Monday, May 7 and Tuesday, May 8.
6. Visits to the schools will be arranged with the principals of the schools selected.


• NCATE/OSPI Preparations: (Joyce Garrett)
  1. There are problems with the management of the website team. They have been overwriting each other's work and have not been following through on naming conventions.
  2. Different programs keep surfacing.
  3. There has been a tremendous turnaround in the attitudes and willingness to participate on the part of the CTL faculty.
  4. We are still gathering data and candidate work samples.
  5. Rob Brammer revised the School Counseling Handbook to incorporate assessment terminology.
  6. April 16, 2007 is the date the website is supposed to be complete and locked.

• Article for Observer:
  Rebecca Bowers reported that Becky Watson and a student at the Observer will be writing the article about the upcoming NCATE/OSPI Accreditation Visits.
