 Take One! is a professional development opportunity from NBPTS that is available to individuals or schools. One portfolio entry is submitted, a videotaped lesson within your certification area. Your score can be banked, should you later decide to pursue full NBCT candidacy. There are no eligibility requirements.

Take One! at CWU
- Beginning with the 2008-2009 cohort year, Central Washington University will offer Take One! as part of its NBCT Candidate Support Program.
- Candidates participate in NBCT cohorts.
- Register for Take One! through the Office of Continuing Education, and enroll in ECTL 613 Take One! Portfolio Entry Process (2 credits; tuition: $446.80).
- ECTL 613 also may be used as a course in the Professional Growth Core of the Professional Certificate Program.
