Problem solving can be provided by the Human Resources representative for the area in which an employee works. At CWU, there are two ways to file a complaint. The first way is to deal with the complaint internally, using the university’s own system. They may contact the Office for Equal Opportunity. (Barge Hall, Room 211, phone: 963-2205 or TDD 963-2207 or http://www.cwu.edu/~oeo/ ) They will have the option of initiating an informal or formal complaint.

Regardless of whether an individual chooses to use the CWU internal process, the option is for the individual to file a complaint with an outside enforcing agency.
