
REGISTRATION AND CHECK IN AT THE SUB (Samuelson Union Building)
This conference is designed for college students and their allies. Participants
should have an interest in developing intentional leadership skills, learning
more about LGBT issues and establishing coalitions within their campus.
We strongly encourage advisors and directors of LGBT organizations and
centers to attend. All are welcome.

- Participants will gain learning opportunities and leadership
development for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender community and
their allies.
- Take-home resources so participants can bring program, services
to their institutions with a how-to tool kit.
- Strengthen existing organizations and bolster membership.
- Increase campus coalition building.
- Strong networking with other student organizations and individuals
in the Tri-State area.

Elizabeth Birch
Elizabeth Birch is among the most visible gay leaders in the country.
She has been the keynote speaker in a great variety of settings,
in corporate America (IBM, Disney, General Mills, Fleet Bank, Apple,
and Citigroup to name a few), and to associations (Working Women,
Leadership Conference on Civil Rights, Emily's List, Religious Action
Center) and on many U.S. campuses and universities. Birch has been
one of the most visible women in corporate America and certainly
one of the key gay leaders of our time.

Shane L. Windmeyer Shane L. Windmeyer serves
as the founder and coordinator of the STOP THE HATE! Campus Bias
Hate Crime Prevention Program for the Association of College Unions
International. Windmeyer has worked in this role for the past four
years to implement a series of hate crime prevention efforts on
behalf of the Association.
