January 7, 2010 - Zainab Salbi, CEO and founder of Women-for-Women, International takes readers into the heart of Afghanistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Colombia, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, and Sudan to hear the stories of women who daily reclaim the lives of their families and communities from the ashes of conflict.

Maya Lin, American artist and architect
April 15, 2010 - Maya Lin, American artist and architect, best known for designing the Vietnam Veteran Memorial in Washington D.C., the Civil Rights Memorial in Montgomery, Alabama, and the Confluence Project along the Columbia River, discusses where she draws inspiration for her sculpture and architecture including culturally diverse sources like Japanese gardens, Hopewell Indian earthen mounds, and works by American earthworks artists of the 1960s and 1970s.
