I was hired by a consulting firm before my internship ended and have been consulting for them since Aug 1999. I have three facilities I visit for them. I also have picked up a job, on my own, as an out patient counsler for a small hospital in Ritzville Wa. I am involved with WSDA as a committee member for the Mentoring Project.

Personally, my life has undergone some changes since graduation. I became single after 24 years of marriage and moved to the Tri-Cities. I have a new found love for the Blues and love to travel in my new car. My car was a gift to myself after graduation and for those of you that remember my cars you know what this means to me! My 2 grown children and wonderful grandson, now 7, live in Wenatchee. I recently met a most wonderful man and if I run into you sometime I will tell you all about him!! Weve been dating 6 months now. I've been working mainly in diabetes education since completion of the internship program. When I first moved back to Tennessee I worked at a hospital called Northcrest Medical Center for just over a year. I then had the opportunity to work for an up-and-coming disease management company called American Healthways. It is now considered the leading disease management company in the world. I met my husband there and now have a beautiful 9 month old girl named Mindy. I have decided to take 1 to 2 years off to take care of her... still adjusting to home life.
