Application Requirements

Incoming freshmen may apply through the Admissions Office and the William O. Douglas Honors College. Admission will be granted to students who demonstrate excellence in academic achievement-both in high school course work and in standardized testing. Self-motivated students with initiative and leadership skills are especially encouraged to apply.

Applicants are normally expected to have completed two years of study in a foreign language as well as meet mathematics competence requirements prior to acceptance. However, those who have not done so will be required to complete two years of a foreign language, and mathematics coursework through Math 154.

Application Procedures

Interested students should contact the Admissions Office at Central Washington University, and follow the procedures for freshman admission. In addition, the Honors College has a separate admission form that should be completed and returned to the Honors College office. The Honors College Application does not substitute for the Central Washington University Application for Undergraduate Admission, and vice versa.

Application Deadline

All applications must either be postmarked or sent electronically by May 15. Applications may be considered after May 15 if the enrollment cap has not been reached.
