The CWU Guitar Club meets weekly on Thursdays at
6:00PM in the new SUB room 201
In Guitar Club our goal is to share
knowledge and appreciation for our favorite instrument. During each session everyone is
encouraged to bring their acoustic guitars, but we have no problem with
electrics if you bring an amp. It doesn't matter if you barely know what a C
chord is, were happy to answer any questions. If you just want to jam out, this is the perfect place for you.
- Possibilities for an upcoming fundraiser are being discussed, as of right now we are planning on an organized 'Battle of the Bands' type concert to be held on campus.
The Chords
Section is the complete chord table that shows you every key to play in
alongside with each chord that belongs to it. Most commonly when we have jam
sessions, we stick to the basic C Major (A minor) key or G Major (E minor) key.
