Introducing Wines of Central

CWU graduates are involved in every aspect of Washington’s burgeoning wine industry. Wines of Central is an opportunity for Central alumni to sample wines with a CWU connection, often at special prices.

And how better to introduce Wines of Central than with the superb wines of Gamache. Before founding their own estate winery, Roger and Paula Gamache (class of ‘79) and Roger’s brother Bob Gamache established their reputation as the growers of some of Washington’s most sought-after grapes. Now their own vintages are earning extraordinary praise from wine lovers and the wine press alike. Hand-crafted in small lots, these wines capture the unique essence of their remarkable vineyard atop the White Bluffs, near Richland.

Based on the recommendation of Amy Mumma, Director of CWU’s World Wine Program, our initial package is a bottle each of Gamache’s 2006 Viognier and 2004 Estate Syrah for $39 plus shipping and handling.
