2008-09 Departmental Scholarship Nomination

These scholarships are funded by the Central Washington University License Plate Revenue. The purpose of these awards is to honor upperclassmen who have shown exceptional aptitude in their area of specialization.

The Alumni Association provides a $1000.00 award to the recipient of the Departmental Scholarship. The recipient will be recognized during Homecoming weekend. Departmental involvement is required for all applications. A maximum of two nominations from a department or course of study will be accepted.

The criteria for selection will be based on the student's: (not in order of importance)

• Academics
• Contribution to department
• Motivation
• Organizational and leadership activities
• Demonstrated financial need

The application deadline is March 5, 2008. The Scholarship Committee of the CWU Alumni Association Board of Director's will select the recipients.
