CWU WENATCHEE:Welcome to the CWU Wenatchee Center. PROGRAM ACCEPTANCE:Admission to the University does not guarantee admission to Wenatchee Center Program. Each program has admission pre-requisites. Please refer to the online catalog at www.cwu.edu/~catalogs/ Records are reviewed for acceptance into each program.It is strongly advised students complete general education and pre-requisite requirements prior to transferring. If students transfer without a Direct Transfer Degree (DTA) or equivalent or a Bachelors Degree it will be necessary to return to a community college to compete the DTA or general education requirements. General education requirements must be completed within one year or 45 credits from admission quarter. Some programs require completion of general education and all pre-requisites. (Admission to programs is determined by transcripts on file and record of current or future registration. Current and future courses should be listed on admission application. Send updated transcripts to the Center at the end of each quarter.) Degree Programs

Courses Leading to a DegreeBaEd ELEMENTARY EDUCATION COHORT CERTIFICATION ONLY/PROFESSIONAL CORE SEQUENCEAdmission is offered to students based on completion of: Admission to the University; passing all parts of the West B Exam; full acceptance into the Teacher Preparation Program, DTA or equivalent; completion of pre-requisites.BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION / ACCOUNTINGStudents must be fully admitted to the College of Business prior to taking course work or have instructor permission. NEW STUDENT ORIENTATIONNew student orientation is done before the beginning of every quarter. Fall Orientation it is in early September; Winter Orientation is in mid-December; Spring Orientation is mid-March. A letter will be sent to new students advising them of the date(s) and time(s) of orientation.OPEN REGISTRATIONCWU students not admitted to a Wenatchee program may take courses on a space-available basis during open registration. Most courses require permission from program directors.Non-matriculated (not admitted to CWU) students should contact the center prior to beginning of class. VARIOUSFINANCIAL AID - Students interested in Financial Aid, Education Loans, or Scholarships must submit a FAFSA application. PARKING - Students who wish to park at Wenatchee Valley College will need to purchase a parking pass from the cashier's office at WVC.
