APPLYING FOR YOUR MAJOROnce you have been accepted by CWU, and you have completed most of the prerequisites, you can apply to the College of Business to get accepted by the department into your specific program. This is mandatory in order to enroll into most of the core requirement courses. Forms can be obtained in the Moses Lake office.ADVISINGUpon your admittance to the Business Administration major, you will be assigned a faculty advisor. The professor will most likely be located on the Ellensburg campus. You will want to make contact with them as early as possible to begin a rapport regarding the direction of your education.NEW STUDENT ORIENTATIONNew student orientation is done before the beginning of every quarter. Fall Orientation it is in early September; Winter Orientation is in mid-December; Spring Orientation is mid-March and Summer Orientation is in June. A letter will be sent to new students advising them of the date(s) and time(s) and location of orientation.FIRST TERM REGISTRATIONNew students will register for classes during the orientation. After the first term, students will be able to register for classes on their own via the World Wide Web with the CWU SAFARI system which will be covered during orientation.STUDENT E-MAIL ACCOUNTEvery student admitted to CWU has access to a free CWU GroupWise e-mail account. GroupWise is the main e-mail source for CWU students. This will be our form of communication to you to advise you of important dates such as class and registration information, advisors coming to CWU - Moses Lake, classroom assignments, class cancellations, and graduation application deadlines. It will be important for you to check your CWU e-mail on a regular basis. If you don’t have Internet access at home, you can use the computer lab in the office or BBCC library to access your e-mail.WILDCAT CONNECTIONThe WILDCAT CONNECTION is part of the CWU webpage where you can access your personal and campus information. You can link up to it from the CWU homepage. Once logged on the SAFARI link is your source for personalized student information that includes your financial aid, class schedule, grades, CAPS report, and more. You will receive information on how to access this account with your acceptance letter.FINANCIAL AID AND SCHOLARSHIPS (if necessary)
COMPUTER LABWe have a computer set up in the office for student use. It is available during office hours, hours of instruction, and by appointment.CWU - Moses Lake students also have access to the Big Bend Community College (BBCC) computer labs. They are located in the library and the hours of operation are : Fall/Winter/Spring quarters: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 9:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm, Saturday & Sunday - Noon - 6:00pm Summer quarter: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm, Saturday & Sunday - Closed STUDENT PARKINGThere is no charge for parking at the BBCC campus. Please park in the designated student parking lots.
