The WIN-WIN Computer Replacement Program

WIN-WIN FAST TRACK

A simple guide to getting your Win-Win computer FAST.

  1. Do NOT submit a requisition. Win-Win computers are purchased from a special Project ID and must be purchased by ITS.
  2. Complete and submit a Win-Win form for each computer you want to replace.
  3. Your order will NOT be processed until the charge is authorized. Reply to email from AMT.
  4. The person getting the Win-Win computer needs to respond to the delivery e-mail to setup an appointment to have the computer delivered and installed. Delivery will NOT take place until a time and date is set.

If you have any questions, please contact Jeff Gladen, gladenj@cwu.edu 963-1606 or Chris Pratz, cpratz@cwu.edu 963-1581.

Project Goal
The goal of the Win-Win Project is to help replace outdated computers on campus with new computers that adhere to, or exceed, the CWU campus standard hardware and software configuration. Only the recommended PC and iMac are available through the WINWIN program. (http://www.cwu.edu/~css/pcormac.html) Please note: standard PC systems no longer include a floppy drive.

Project Requirements
The project will assist in the replacement of old computers that are connected to the CWU network which have CWU Tag # less than 83000 with a standard PC or standard iMac.

Qualifying Departments
All state funded academic and administrative departments qualify for this program.

Please understand that the Win-Win program has done a wonderful job to prepare CWU for the current economic challenges we face. The average age of the computers on campus are the lowest they have ever been.

We also have a recycle program available and we will assist departments with PC or Mac solutions for low cost or no cost if units are available.
