Program Description

Durnig the academic years 2001-2002 and 2002-2003, The National Science Foundation - Computer Science Scholarship Program provided scholarships to academically talented undergraduates majoring in computer science at Central Washington University.

Listed below are the student awardees. The program features a student-faculty mentorship program that emphasizes undergraduate research. Also listed below are the undergraduate research accomplishments of the scholarship awardees.

  • Jon Brown, Dynamic Icon Generation for Visual Correlation, Proceedings of the International Conference on Imaging Science, Systems, and Technology, CISST'02, v.1, 139 - 145, June, 2002.
  • Kelly Crooke, Lindsay Appel, and Tammie Correll presented their results of their audit on the accessible of higher education Web sites at the student poster session of the 2002 CCSC-NW Conference in Seattle, Washington. Their poster was awarded third place in the best poster competition.
