There are tons of creative, fun, and interesting jobs and careers in computing fields. In fact, since computers have become a part of everything we do, one can major in computer science and do just about anything.

If you want to make a positive difference in the world, study computing. Computers and software are the driving technologies behind the human genome project, AIDS vaccine research, environmental monitoring and protection (just to mention a few).

According to CNN Money Magazine's 2006 report, the Number one best job in America was software engineering, ahead of finance, medicine, real estate, and law. Furthermore, the number of software engineering jobs is expected to grow by 46% in the next ten years.
