Graduate Programs in Counseling

Central Washington University offers two masters degrees in Counseling. We have a

  • Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling (click here for the handbook) and a
  • Master of Education in School Counseling (click here for the handbook).

Both programs are 90 quarter hours, and they are closely aligned. Many of our students choose to complete both programs (earning an MS in Mental Health Counseling with School Counseling Certification). Please see the respective handbook for more information on either program, or contact Dr. Rob Brammer for more information.

The MS degree is Accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP)
