Undergraduate Student Eligibility

The Science Honors Research program is intended to foster the career development of CWU undergraduate students who have an aptitude for research in science fields.

Students will qualify for participation in the Science Honors Research Program when they:

  • Have declared a major and achieved junior standing in their scientific discipline at the time of entry into the program (winter quarter).
  • Have completed 10-15 credits of upper division course work in their major.
  • Have a Grade Point Average of 3.0 or above in science and math at the time of application to program (fall quarter) and maintain that average during the program.
