The Journalism major helps students become competent in the skills, concepts and
perspective they need to be successful in the media. Students will learn to
communicate information to a mass audience in a variety of media - print,
broadcast and online. Students also develop an appreciation for the fundamental
roles the media play in our social, political and economic system.
