Student Resources : Faculty Awards Nomination

Nomination Form 2009--Nominations closed for 2009

Ellensburg - Des Moines - Lynnwood - Moses Lake - Wenatchee - Yakima

Nominations are invited for two faculty awards in the College of Business at Central Washington University. The awards will be announced at the 2009 CB Honors Banquet held May 2, 2009, at the CWU--Des Moines center. The areas are:

  1. CB Advisory Board Award for Excellence in Teaching
  2. CB Advisory Board Award for Excellence in Advising

Goal:

To recognize the efforts of the College of Business faculty to deliver excellent teaching and/or excellent advising.

Nomination Process:

Nominations will be received from College of Business faculty, students, and staff through Saturday, April 11, 2009. The individual offering the nomination must include a brief supporting statement that also describes the area of the nomination. All faculty teaching courses in CWU's College of Business (Acct, Econ, Finance & OSC, and Mgt. Depts.) at any location during 2008-2009 are eligible. The recipient of last year's award is not eligible for the same award for this current year: (2008 awardees: Teaching--Professor John Lasik; Advising--Dr. Linda Larson)

After April 11, nominees will then be invited to offer a one-page statement in support of their area of nomination. If you would like to be involved in the nomination process, please fill out the nomination form below:

Selection Process:

Selection committees will be appointed to review the materials and cast ballots to select the honorees for each area.
