Nomination Form 2008--Nominations are Closed for 2008

Ellensburg - Des Moines - Lynnwood - Moses Lake - Wenatchee - Yakima

Nominations are invited for two faculty awards in the College of Business (Acct, Econ, Finance & OSC, and Mgt. Depts.) at Central Washington University. The awards will be announced at the 2008 CB Honors Banquet held May 3, 2008, at CWU--Ellensburg. The areas are:

1. CB Advisory Board Award for Excellence in Teaching
2. CB Advisory Board Award for Excellence in Advising

Goal:

To recognize the efforts of the College of Business faculty to deliver excellent teaching and/or excellent advising.

Nomination Process:

Nominations will be received from College of Business faculty, students, and staff through Saturday, April 12, 2008. The individual offering the nomination should include a brief supporting statement that also describes the area of the nomination. All faculty teaching courses in CWU's College of Business at any location during 2007-2008 are eligible. The recipient of last year's award is not eligible for the same award for this current year: (2007 awardees: Teaching--Dr. David Hedrick; Advising--Dr. Jim Nimnicht)

After April 7, nominees will then be invited to offer a one-page statement in support of their area of nomination. If you would like to be involved in the nomination process, please fill out the nomination form below:

Selection Process:

Selection committees will be appointed to review the materials and cast ballots to select the honorees for each area.
