Faculty Resources : CB Distance Education Policies

Currently there is an expectation in the College of Business that those faculty who teach Distance Education (DE) to other sites must visit these sites at least once during the quarter. This expectation is based on the research literature indicating that the experience for distance students is much more favorable when they meet their instructor face-to-face early on in the quarter.

Compensation is based on the number of students enrolled in the class during the 10th day of the quarter during the academic school year (3rd day during summer). DE pay will not be processed until the 2nd pay period of the term with 1 retro pay period included.
