Economics Minor I

This minor is designed to accompany the Business Administration and Accounting majors. Prior approval of electives by the Economics advisor is required.

Required Courses Credits

Must have the following:

  • ECON 201: Principles of Economics Micro, 5 credits
  • ECON 202: Principles of Economics Macro, 5 credits

Select 5 credits from the following:

  • ECON 310: International Economics, 5 credits
  • ECON 330: Money and Banking, 5 credits
  • ECON 332: Public Finance, 5 credits
  • ECON 401: Intermediate Microeconomic Analysis, 5 credits
  • ECON 402: Intermediate Macroeconomic Analysis, 5 credits

Select 10 additional credits from the above list OR other 300-400 level economics courses with departmental approval

Economics Minor I Total Credits: 25

Additional Graduation Requirements

A cumulative grade point average of 2.50 in the above courses must be achieved with a minimum grade of C- in each course. The credit/no credit option will not be accepted for any of these courses. The student must have earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 in all collegiate study. These criteria also apply to equivalent courses transferred from other institutions.


Economics Minor II

This minor is designed for all majors with the exception of Business Administration and Accounting. Prior approval of electives by the Economics advisor is required.

Required Courses Credits

Must have the following:

  • ECON 201: Principles of Economics Micro, 5 credits
  • ECON 202: Principles of Economics Macro, 5 credits

Select 5 credits from the following:

  • ECON 310: International Economics, 5 credits
