Tom Morgan

Thomas Morgan brings more than 25 years of leadership experience within financial institutions to his current post as Senior Vice President and CIO for the Home Loans Division at Washington Mutual. Morgan is responsible for the proactive design and delivery of all technology solutions and services to Washington Mutual's Home Loans Division.

Morgan joined Washington Mutual in March 2003 as the CIO for the Corporate Support Groups. The Corporate Support Groups included Finance, Human Resources, Enterprise Operations, Legal, Enterprise Risk Management, Corporate Affairs, Technology Solutions Group, and enterprise responsibility for Data Management.

Prior to Washington Mutual, Morgan worked for 12 years at FleetBoston Financial in Boston, Massachusetts . There, he most recently served as the Corporate Systems CIO and Executive Vice President. Tom has a wide range of domestic and international experience within financial institutions including work in Finance, Retail, Operations, and Technology.

Tom is a graduate of University of Maine, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration, with a concentration in accounting and finance. He completed the Harvard Business School Executive Education Program focusing on Delivering Information Services. Tom also is a member of the Applications Executive Board.
