Katherine Elser

Kathy Elser is Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance and Administration of BECU and Chief Financial Officer of Prime Alliance Solutions, Inc., a BECU majority-owned subsidiary. BECU is ranked the 4th largest credit union (by asset size) in the United States with assets in excess of $8.0 billion and serves members throughout the State of Washington.

Kathy serves as a board member of Prime Alliance Solutions, Inc. and has served terms on the Executive Committees of the boards of the Seattle Chapter of the Washington State Society of CPAs as well as the King County Chapter of Credit Unions. Kathy also participates as a panelist and presenter at various credit union education forums and conferences.

Prior to joining BECU, Kathy worked in public accounting at Deloitte & Touche, LLP, and at various other financial institutions in both financial reporting and internal audit. Kathy received her B.S. in Accounting from Central Washington University in 1989.

Kathy resides in Issaquah, Washington, with her husband and son.
