As the Executive Director for the Economic Development Group of Kittitas County Ron is responsible for the implementation of the county wide economic development strategy which includes business retention and expansion, business recruitment and work force development for Kittitas County. Along with those responsibilities the Economic Development Group contracts with the Ellensburg Businesses Development Authority to manage their light industrial property at the airport and oversee the Ellensburg Business Incubator for start up businesses. Prior to the Economic Development Group Ron served as the Executive Director for the Ellensburg Chamber of Commerce.
