What I do in Chemistry

• Serve as the department secretary for Chemistry
• Track and reconcile department budgets
• Develop and maintain department databases such as the alumni database
• Publish departmental and alumni newsletters
• Manage the day to day operation of the department
• Serve as the Science Facility Building Monitor

Experience and Education

• Grew up in western Washington
• Graduated from CWU in 1993 with a BS in Law and Justice
• Worked on campus since 1995
• Joined the Chemistry Department in 1999
• Was the CWU Employee of the Month for April 2001

What I do for fun

• Participate in the local American Cancer Society's annual fundraiser Relay For Life as a member of "Team Hope". Also a member of the Survivor Activities Planning Committee for this event. See my web link above for more details.
• Travel to warm and sunny places with husband Tim
• Play with my 'kids' - Kascha (an 85 lb German Shepherd), Callie (a 50 lb. female Australian Shepherd) and Scooter and Rudy (under 10lb male Pomeranians)
