I was born October 24, 1936 in Kansas City, Missouri. In 1962 I married Gisela in
Germany. We have two grown sons, Dan and Steve who live in Iowa City and Seattle, respectively.
My hobbies include most anything from anagrams to welding, but I am most enthused by things
German, music, computers and fixing toasters (or anything else that is broken.)
I'm a big fan and supporter of foreign languages, but, aside from German, have not managed to
keep up my skills very well.
